Born in 15 October , 1978 in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Studied and completed M.A. in English Literature from University of Chittagong. Joined to the Theatre Group in 1997 as performer of ‘The Wall (1997)’, Drama writer of Minar (Tower,1997), Aajan (Prayer Call, 1998) and Sindhusharash (The Sea Bird, 1999) based on the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Participated ‘Film Appreciation Course, 1998’ at Dhaka. Founder Member of Chittagong University Film Society. Participants of ‘Digital Film Making Workshop’ at British Council, Bangladesh at Dhaka in 2007. Started career as film critic and short story writing since 2007. Debut film as Director of short fiction ‘Hijack’ (2008), Documentary ‘The Ancient Rebel / The life of Binod Bihari Chy’ (2008), Fun ( 2012) and The Adventurer (2014). he has been working as Producer and Director in his own Production Company ‘An. Brothers Productions since 2011. Current position as Guest Teacher in Film Study at Department of Dramatics, University of Chittagong. Bangladesh.
